You'll love this for your "small world" category: I have a chapter on teaching Watchmen in that collection being edited by Stephen Tabachnick. :) I agree that he's a super-coll guy.

Crazy! I need to e-mail him and congratulate him on this. I remember when I was taking that class he was already working on this book and asked us for input...I'm debating whether or not I should milk that for a desk copy ;-)
BC, both of us have issues w/"inventing the wheel" lately.
I read the post, but went on to look at what came before. As a fan of Ian Rankin who takes pleasure in the "soundtracks" which accompany Rebus, it was fun to see the new comic which Rankin helped create. That project is exactly the kind of "cross disciplinary" project Hatfield calls for in his post. Not in academe, I know.
