The Comics Comics blog has a nice collection of information on famous figures and literary luminaries who have claimed comics as an influence. Here's hoping they keep up the good work!

The little look at Updike is worth a lot. I recall an early poem that had to do with cartoons or somesuch. I recall that impressed me. I, too, stretched out on the linolleum and read the comics each day, but I began with them, I think; they were in the back.
