I am so "Yay!"
The Watchmen film controversy appears to be over! That commercial I saw during the NFL playoffs is correct: the movie will debut on March 6th! I've got to get some red paint for my yellow smiley face beachball!!!!!

Sweet! That's a load off my mind, too! We're on Spring Break here when it opens, so I'm looking forward to living it up in style. My son just borrowed my copy to read this morning. I sure hope his teacher (who is an otherwise nice lady, but nevertheless a "comics don't count as reading" troll) doesn't confiscate it. I don't want to have to go all Rorschach on a fellow educator ...

I think we don't have our break till later, and I'm supposed to be teaching a "Teaching the GRaphic Novel" course this semester, so I'm hoping to coordinate a lecture with one of the area theaters on opening night. Now, the theaters don't know that yet, but we'll see what happens. :)
